A good career doesn’t just happen without a little planning. If you’re in college–or getting ready for college–take this short quiz to see which steps you need to take to prepare for a career that really fits you.

Questions 1-2 

If you answered NO to any of these questions it’s time to schedule a visit with an academic or career advisor for career testing that can help you better understand your own strengths and skills.

Questions 3-6 

If you answered NO to any of these questions, schedule some time with an academic or career counselor to learn more about resources that will provide you with more information about the the job market, education and training options for your career preferences.

Questions 7-10 

If you answered YES to any of these questions, it’s time to work with your college’s career services office to develop your job hunting skills. Advisors can help you write an effective resume and develop your interviewing skills.
